Changes to FORM I9-Effective 09/18/2017
The USCIS has changed the Form I9 again. Effective 9/18/17 all US companies will be required to use the new Form I9 or face expensive penalties for out of date forms. The changes are subtle so please don't get lulled into thinking the forms are the same. The best way to know if you're using the most current form is to check the issue date at the bottom.

"Employers will be able to use this revised version or continue using Form I-9 with a revision date of 11/14/16 N through Sept. 17," the agency said. "On Sept. 18, employers must use the revised form with a revision date of 07/17/17 N."
